Women's "Joy" Ministry Lighthouse Tabernacle Church |
Lighthouse Tabernacle's Women's Ministry is called the
Joy Ministry. In a world where joy is so misunderstood, we feel
that joy is something we can live daily, in spite of our circumstances
and past experiences. Our desire is to bring the women to a place
where they can feel contentment 'in the journey,' as we provide a
safe envornment in our home meetings, usually held monthly in
homes across Staten Island.
We explore 'root issues' from our upbringing and expose
the schemes of the 'enemy of our souls' through biblical teachings.
We emphasize forgiveness and moving forward in our Christian
growth and development. In our meetings we encourage interaction
through sharing and asking questions and also provide a time of
fellowship and refreshments!
Personal ministry is provided from our committed team of
leaders, who gather weekly for prayer and training. Our goal is to
see women set free from the mental and spiritual bondage brought
on from the past, and even present circumstances, in order to be
equipped to walk through life's journey with strength, ultimately
strengthening and encouraging others along the way.
That is true 'joy!' Having the victory through our Lord,
Jesus Christ.
