Our Children's Ministry Exists to:
S hare Christ with the children of our community.
T eam them with other believers.
A dvance them in their spiritual maturity.
R ecognize their spiritual gifts.
S urrender their lives to God.
Our children are shining STARS, which the Lord has made. For God has a plan for each one of their lives.
Our Sunday school teachers consist of a committed group of teachers who rotate monthly and meet regularly for prayer and training. Our children are cared for and our teachers pray for the children as well. Bible memorization is encouraged.

Our group's mission is found in I Tim 4:12 - “Let no one despise or think less of you because of your youth, but be an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”
Our goal for the young people that attend our group is to help build them up through the power of the Holy Spirit to live a life-changing and long-lasting relationship with Jesus Christ. To equip and challenge them to change the world around them as they grow and become more like Christ.

Lighthouse Tabernacle's Women's Ministry is called the
Joy Ministry. In a world where joy is so misunderstood, we feel
that joy is something we can live daily, in spite of our circumstances
and past experiences. Our desire is to bring the women to a place
where they can feel contentment 'in the journey,' as we provide a
safe envornment in our home meetings, usually held monthly in
homes across Staten Island.
We explore 'root issues' from our upbringing and expose
the schemes of the 'enemy of our souls' through biblical teachings.
We emphasize forgiveness and moving forward in our Christian
growth and development. In our meetings we encourage interaction
through sharing and asking questions and also provide a time of
fellowship and refreshments!
Personal ministry is provided from our committed team of
leaders, who gather weekly for prayer and training. Our goal is to
see women set free from the mental and spiritual bondage brought
on from the past, and even present circumstances, in order to be
equipped to walk through life's journey with strength, ultimately
strengthening and encouraging others along the way.
That is true 'joy!' Having the victory through our Lord,
Jesus Christ.

Our goal is to build strong relationships among the men, to teach men to teach men to teach men thus fulfilling the great commission as well as strengthen them in their walk with Jesus Christ, as they lead their families with Him. In each meeting, we try to get as many men as possible to share and encourage them to step out and serve God.
